Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a roller supporting device capable of reducing an outer diameter of an outer ring in a radial bearing composed of a permanent magnet.SOLUTION: Tolerance ranges of a mass m of a roller 1, tensile force T of a web W, an included angle 2θ of the web W, a magnetic flux density B of an inner ring 22 and an outer ring 24, an axial length L of the inner ring 22 and the outer ring 24, an inner diameter r4 of the inner ring 22, and a dimension t of a clearance 23 are input, a supporting magnetic force FP between the inner ring 22 and the outer ring 24 in a radial bearing 18 is determined while applying the tolerance ranges of the mass m, the included angle 2θ, the magnetic flux density B, the length L, the inner diameter r4, and the dimension t of the clearance 23, and the outer diameter r1 of the outer ring 24 as parameters under a condition that a thickness of the inner ring 22 and a thickness of the outer ring 24 are equalized, and a minimum value of the outer diameter r1 of the outer ring 24 when the supporting magnetic force FP and a load FK relating to the radial bearing 18 become equal to each other, is determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
