To provide a method of manufacturing a golf ball with an improved productivity using an injection molding machine without reducing the carry and durability of the ball.
The method of manufacturing this rubber ball for golf ball includes a step of preparation of a rubber composition containing a base rubber, a co-crosslinking agent, an organic sulfer compound and/or a metal salt thereof and a crosslinking agent, and a step of injection molding and vulcanization of the rubber composition. Preferably, the contained organic sulfer compound and/or metal salt thereof is 0.1-3.0 parts by weight against the base rubber 100 parts by weight. And injection molding and vulcanization are carried out at the injection speed of 5-300 cc/sec. at a metal mold temperature of 130-190°C for the vulcanization period of 0.5-10 minutes.
