Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a run flat tire capable of shortening a vulcanization time in a vulcanization process.SOLUTION: The invention provides a manufacturing method of a run flat tire which includes a side reinforcement rubber having approximately crescent-shaped cross section. The method includes: an extrusion process S11 for extruding an unvulcanized rubber strip from an extruder 22; a molding process S2 for molding a green tire by using a side reinforcement rubber molded by using the rubber strip; and a vulcanization process for vulcanization of the green tire. Moreover, between the extrusion process S11 and the molding process S2, the method includes an EBR step S13 for preliminary vulcanization of the rubber strip by irradiating an electron beam to the rubber strip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
