To provide a method for manufacturing a scaly fine powder containing solution by which scaly fine powder having nano-sized thickness and high aspect ratio can be immediately used in a state where it is contained in a specific solvent, to provide the scaly fine powder containing solution and also to provide the scaly fine powder itself.

The manufacturing method for obtaining a scaly fine powder containing solution in which scaly fine powder is contained comprises the following steps: a lamination step where a peeling agent is applied to the surface of a film as a basis material to form a peeling layer and subsequently a thin film composed of any or a plurality of a metal as a simple substance, an alloy and a metallic compound is laminated to prepare a laminate; a peeling step where the thin film is peeled off, using a solvent capable of dissolving the peeling agent, from the laminate into the solvent to prepare a coarse powder containing solution composed of the solvent and the thin film; a concentration regulation step for regulating the concentration of the thin film in the coarse powder containing solution; and a pulverization step for pulverizing the thin film into scaly fine powder.
