Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a sheet body whose raw material cost is inexpensive, and which has a good surface state and excellent corrosion resistance without using an environmentally contaminative gas.
SOLUTION: A preform integrally molded by pressurizing a lot of AZ91 magnesium alloy chips is charged in the cavity of a die. In the specific region of the vertical and horizontal axes surrounded by setting the molding temperature of the horizontal axis to be 623K to 803K and by setting the draft of the vertical axis to be 50% to 80%, and in a diffusion region existing above a straight-line segment which connects a first intersecting point having a molding temperature of 723K and a draft of 50% to a second intersecting point having a molding temperature of 623K and a draft of 70%, the preform in the cavity is pressurized and diffused to manufacture the sheet body under the combination state (selected heating pressurization conditions) of the selected molding temperature and the selected draft.
