Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing solid-state glass that is never broken.SOLUTION: In a process in which molten glass is pressed into roller and then solidified while rolled and drawn with the rollers, an a pulsating current and an electron single electrode potential of billions to tens of billions of voltage generated using a high-frequency transformer are applied to electrodes fitted to both widthwise ends of the rolled glass according to the width of the plate glass before the glass is solidified in view from a stage of a state in which the glass is still molten right before the glass reaches the first roller, and electrons within a width of the glass are thus linearly arrayed to obtain the plate glass having the atoms of the glass linearly arrayed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
