PURPOSE: To conjoin a bushing lead terminal and an electrode pillar to each other well, by providing a countersink at the top of the electrode pillar insertion hole of the bushing lead terminal, and welding the pillar and the terminal to each other while placing the chamfered tip of the pillar at the same level as the top of the bushing.

CONSTITUTION: An electrode pillar 4 is inserted into the electrode pillar insertion hole 3 of a bushing lead terminal 2. The chamfered portion 6 of the pillar 4 is placed at the same level as the top a of the terminal 2. The pillar 4 and the terminal 2 are then welded to each other by flames. Since the chamfered portion 6 of the electrode pillar 4 is partly placed in the countersink 5 of the bushing lead terminal 2, the welding flames go deep into the welded portions of the pillar and the terminal so that the welded portions are molten enough. The welding is thus made good.
