Abstract:

To provide an extruder for melt-kneading a powdered thermoplastic resin and a liquid additive, and a manufacturing method using the extruder.SOLUTION: A twin screw extruder has a first supply port 9, a second supply port 10, a first kneading zone 3, a second kneading zone 5, a first vacuum vent 13, and a die part 15. The first kneading zone 3 consists of at least one kind selected from a kneading disk with a twist angle of 15 to 60 degrees, a blade width Lb/D=0.07 to 0.5, and a clockwise notch screw with 10 to 20 notches/pitch, and at least one kind selected from a kneading disk with a twist angle of 90 degrees, a blade width Lb/D=0.07 to 0.5, and a counterclockwise notch screw with screw pitch Ls/D=0.2 to 1.0, 10 to 20 notches/pitch. A length of the first kneading zone 3 is Lm1/D=3 to 10, and the first vacuum vent 13 is located on a downstream side of the second kneading zone 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
