To obtain a tubular double layer container consisting of a body layer and a non- reinforced liner layer which is bonded to the body layer using an aqueous adhesive.
This method for manufacturing a tubular double layer container for food is to apply the aqueous adhesive to the surface of the body layer made of a board and partially vaporize the moisture by heating the adhesive to make the adhesive stick easily. The body layer and a polymer liner layer with a moisture protecting layer are made to pass through a squeezer so that both layers are mutually attached and wound around a molding mandrel into a tubular container. Consequently an inner face is formed by rolling the layers in a tubular shape in the useful tubular container of the board with the body layer. The body layer before its rolling determines the specified length in the circumferential direction corresponding to a single rotation of the body layer itself when the layer is rolled in the tubular shape. On the inner face of the body layer, the polymer linear layer is attached and the length in the circumferential direction which is equal to the length in the circumferential direction of the body layer before the rolling is formed. Thus the liner layer is compressed in the circumferential direction when the body layer is rolled in the tubular shape and after the rolling, the surface is conveniently creased by the compression.
