To improve accuracy of a cross-sectional dimension and a twisting pitch of a twisted extruded material by preventing the twisted extruded material having spiral unevenness along the longitudinal direction in the outer periphery from undulating or bending on a material table.
A tip part of a twisted extruded material 5 is held by a holding part 16 of this puller 14, the puller 14 is moved in an extrusion direction in accordance with an extrusion speed of the twisted extruded material 5, and then tensile force in an elastic deformation range is added to the twisted extruded material 5. The holding part 16 is installed to freely rotate by using the extrusion direction as an axial line, and freely rotates in response to the rotation of the twisted extruded material with movement of the puller 14.
