Abstract:
To provide a method for the mass-preparation of a protein in an acellular protein synthesis system capable of solving the problem that, in view of the critical drawback of low protein yield in such an acellular protein synthesis system, improvements of the reaction system itself as well as reaction method have been considered, resulting in higher protein yield, however, the yield is not sufficiently high yet.
This method involves adding a polyphosphoric acid to the acellular protein synthesis system. Thereby, protein yield becomes sufficiently high, enabling an inexpensive and practical acellular protein synthesis system.
