Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately and simply measuring a concentration of COin organic COabsorbing solution which absorbs COand is in a pressurized state in a COseparation device for separating COfrom gas by bringing the gas containing COinto contact with the organic COabsorbing solution at pressure of 1 MPa or more.SOLUTION: After organic COabsorbing solution in a pressurized state is sampled, a portion of the sampled organic COabsorbing solution is mixed with ammonia water and pressure of the remaining portion of the sampled organic COabsorbing solution is reduced to normal pressure to allow the same to evaporate. Then, a dilution rate of the sampled organic COabsorbing solution is calculated by comparing a concentration of organic carbon in the organic COabsorbing solution with the pressure thereof reduced to the normal pressure with the concentration of the organic carbon in the organic COabsorbing solution mixed with the ammonia water. The concentration of inorganic carbon in the sampled organic COabsorbing solution is corrected with the dilution rate.
