On the basis of its imaging data, the position of the display panel is detected. They are taken as reference positions of each display pixel and the display panel. After the calibration pattern is displayed on a display panel 2 for luminance value measurements, and the set position of the panel is calibrated at the reference position of the display panel, an inspection pattern is displayed and imaged. On the basis of its imaging data, a luminance value of each display pixel is acquired.
