Title:
METHOD FOR MEASURING NON-INVASIVE CONTINUOUS BLOOD PRESSURE BY PHOTOELECTRIC VOLUME PULSE WAVE METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01201232
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make unnecessary the determining circuit, etc., of a control target value and to simplify a device constitution while the control target value at the time of the blood pressure measurement can be set to a constant value obtained empirically by unifying approximately the light receiving quantity of a photoelectric detecting means at the time of the high voltage impression to the tested part before the blood pressure measurement.

CONSTITUTION: After a static pressure is added to a tested part 2 so that the output signal of a photoelectric detecting means 4 can be approximately a constant value by a pressure supplying means 5 before the blood pressure measurement, the driving current of a light emitting means 3 is adjusted so that the light receiving quantity of the photoelectric detecting means can be a desired constant value based on the detecting signal of the photoelectric detecting means 4. Thereafter, the blood pressure is measured with a control target value as a prescribed target value specified beforehand. Thus, the light receiving quantity is constant regardless of the tested person at the time of the high pressure impression, the control target value can be set to a constant value obtained empirically, and therefore, the determining circuit of the control target value is made unnecessary and the stable control target value can be set with a simple constitution and rapidly.
