Title:
METHOD FOR MEASURING PARTIAL DISCHARGE IN WINDING OF ROTATING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3730453
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a partial discharge by which the calibration of electric charge can be surely and easily realized during operation of a rotating machine for measurement of partial discharge and the measured results at the time of stopping and operating the rotating machine be compared with each other.
SOLUTION: When a rotating machine is stopped, a pulse generator PG1 connected in parallel with an insulator of a winding and a diagnosis vehicle 31 are used to calibrate an electric charge. A rated voltage of the rotating machine is applied to the winding to measure its partial discharging phenomenon by the diagnosis vehicle 31. While the rotating machine is operated, a search coil for measuring temperature and a measuring device 25 connected with the search coil are used to calibrate an electric charge after judging that a detection signal detected by the measuring device is identical with that detected by the diagnosis vehicle 31 when the rated voltage is applied during stoppage of the rotating machine, and the partial discharging phenomenon during operation is measured by the measuring device.
