Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method for continuously and easily measuring surface energy of a foil.
CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring surface energy of a foil moving in a direction 4 by measuring surface force comprises steps of leading a foil 3 onto at least a first roller 1 and then onto a guide unit for measuring the surface force and measuring deviation of a passage 8 of the actual foil from the possible shortest foil passage 7 between the first roller and the guide unit on at least one point. The deviation is used as a measured value of the surface energy on a side of the foil 3 in contact with the first roller 1.
