Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of mixing a specimen and a reaction reagent, capable of sufficiently mixing the same without using a mixing container.SOLUTION: A mixing method for mixing a specimen 100 and a reaction reagent 200 in a micro flow path 2 includes: a first step of weighing in advance a first charge which is one of the specimen 100 and the reaction reagent 200 and introducing the same from an introduction port 3 to the micro flow path 2; a second step of hermetically sealing the introduction port 3 after the first step; a third step of weighing in advance a second charge which is the other of the specimen 100 and the reaction reagent 200 with the introduction port 3 hermetically sealed and introducing the second charge into the micro flow channel 2 from the introduction port 3 after the second step; and a fourth step of bringing the specimen 100 and the reaction reagent 200 into, and taking out of, the micro flow path 2 through the introduction port 3 and stirring to mix the same with the introduction port 3 hermetically sealed after the third step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
