To provide a method for molding an elastomer capable of surely releasing an elastomer molding from a mold without imparting a damage to the molding and automatically simply taking out the molding.
The method for molding the elastomer comprises the steps of providing an ejector pin 5 and a first insert 6 having a protrusion-shaped section or a triangular-shaped section of a distal end 61 at any one of a fixed mold 2 and a movable mold of a mold, molding a reinforcing resin material (a PR or the like), then retracting the first insert, injection molding the elastomer in an air gap 8 formed thereby, opening the mold after this molding, first further retracting the first insert to release the first insert from the elastomer, and then ejecting the pin 5, thereby releasing the molding 1 from the mold.
