To enhance transparency and moldability with less coloring and no coagulate or silver streaks by melt-molding a hydrogenated α-olefin- dichloropentadiene copolymer whose molecular weight is within the range of a specific reduced viscosity in a toluene solution of specific concentration, at a specific melt temperature and a specific mold temperature.
The hydrogenated α-olefin-dichloropentadiene copolymer to be used is a compolymer whose structural formula is represented by X or Y. X is composed of a repeating unit represented by formula I of 0-39 mol.% and a formula II of 61-100 mol.% (in the formula, R1, R2 are a hydrogen atom or a 1-16C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group). Y is composed of a repeating unit represented by formulae I, II, III, IV (wherein, R1, R2 are a hydrogen atom or a 1-16C saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group; n is 0 or 1; m is a positive integer of 0 or 1-3; p is 0 or 1; R3-R22 are same or different and a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a 6-10C aromatic hydrocarbon group or a 1-12C saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon; and q is an integer of 2-8).
