Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify the procedures for molding operations and to dispose respective parts in exact positions without generating grain size segregation and traces in the boundary parts of the respective parts.
CONSTITUTION: Required powder and granular refractory raw materials 7 are molded by a hydrostatic press under a low pressure to obtain preforms 1, 2, 3 for the tuyere part, inside hole part and powder part. These preforms are successively combined in rubber molds 4, 5, 8 while the powder and granular refractory raw materials for the body parts are packed into the molds by using a mandrel 6; thereafter, the materials are molded by the hydrostatic press under a high pressure, by which the surfaces of the preforms in the respective parts are functioned as the partitions to the powder and granular refractory raw materials for the body parts.
