Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3136027
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a socket at the end of a pipe and embed a heater in the inside of the pipe by heating the end of the pipe close to its softening point, heating a core pin with the heater attached on its outside at the melting point of the pipe or higher, and inserting the core pin to the end of the pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A core pin 20 is made of iron or aluminum. A guide part 28 the outer diameter of which is almost equal to the inner diameter of a pipe 12 is molded at one end of a molding part 24 through a taper part 26. At the other end is molded a stopper part 30 which contacts the end face of the pipe 12. A cartridge heater 32 and the passage 34 of cooling water are installed inside the core pin 20.
