Title:
METHOD FOR MULTI-LAYER CLADDING BY WELDING FOR HIGH HARDNESS METAL OF CAST IRON BASE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3714815
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for multi-layer cladding by welding for the high hardness metal of a cast iron base material, by which high hardness multi- layer cladding by welding can be performed without suppressing the heat input quantity of the welding.
SOLUTION: In a method for multi-layer cladding by welding for the high hardness metal of a cast iron base material, when expressing the heat input quantity [J/cm] of the welding by H, a welding current [A] by I, a welding voltage [V] by E and a welding speed [cm/min] by (v), the value of the heat input quantity H of the welding, which is calculated by H=60×I×E/v, must be 2000 to <6000 in a first layer. The value of the heat input quantity H of the welding is limited to a value exceeding 5000 in an overlaying layer, the preheat temperature or a temperature between passes of the first layer, must be 150°C or below, and a temperature between passes of the overlaying layer is limited to 350°C or below.
