To obtain an analysis method capable of carrying out reliable analysis when the material polarization characteristics of the limited locus of an object to be examined can be known, for a method for numerically analyzing corrosion or corrosion-proof environment, in which the object to be examined present in a medium is considered as a continuum consisting of a plurality of analysis segments that are electrically connected and the outflow/inflow distribution of current is determined by using material polarization characteristics expressing the relationships between potential and current.
The method carries out a specifying step that specifies the material polarization characteristics of the locus at the limited location of the object to be examined; an analysis polarization characteristics determining step that determines the material polarization characteristics of all of the analysis segments; and an outflow/inflow distribution deriving step that determines the outflow/inflow distribution of the current from the object to the medium. In the analysis polarization characteristics determining step, a pair of material polarization characteristics that are in a position relation which sandwiches an unknown analysis segment are weighted by a distance function based on only material polarization characteristics of the known analysis segments, and determined the material polarization characteristics of the unknown analysis segment.
