Abstract:

To provide a method of operating gas separation recovery equipment capable of separating and recovering carbon dioxide from blast furnace gas efficiently and economically without constraints on equipment.

In the method of operating the gas separation recovery equipment for separating and recovering the carbon dioxide from the blast furnace gas in a steel plant, the carbon dioxide is separated and recovered from the blast furnace gas with the gas separation recovery equipment A by a pressure swing adsorption method, and moreover, power generated by using waste heat that occurs in the steel plant in power generating equipment B in the steel plant is used for the gas separation recovery process.
