Abstract:
To provide a method for oxidizing a liquid component, which is a method for oxidizing the liquid component with an oxygen-containing gas, and has an excellent characteristic capable of performing the reaction economically and stably in a high yield.
This method for oxidizing the liquid component with the oxygen- containing gas, can perform the reaction in a state of having 10-500 kgm/sec/m3 agitating power per unit volume. For example, the oxidation reactions such that the liquid component is a hydrocarbon and the product is an organic peroxide of the hydrocarbon, or the liquid component is cumene or meta-di- isopropylbenzene, or the reaction is performed under an emulsion condition of the liquid component, are cited.
