Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable preservation of a Japanese cake in a state of maintained appearance, taste and flavor in production thereof for a long period by enclosing a cylindrical Japanese cake in glassine IIDAI paper, placing the resultant cake in a cylindrical can, covering and hermetically sealing the can with a lid and thermally sterilizing the cake.
CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical periphery of a cylindrical Japanese cake 1 is enclosed with glassine IIDAI paper 2 and placed in a cylindrical can body 3, which is then covered with a lid (3a), hermetically sealed and then thermally sterilized.
