Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the use of corrugated fiberboard containers.SOLUTION: A method for packaging products comprises: arranging a first product and a second product in a manner that the first product is adjacent to the second product to define an arrangement; banding the first product and the second product with bands to form a banded product arrangement; and wrapping the banded product arrangement with a wrapping material to form a wrapped banded product arrangement, wherein (i) the wrapping material completely wraps the product arrangement and a single band of the banded product arrangement, and (ii) the wrapping material makes the wrapping in a manner that the wrapping material is in direct contact with the single band.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8A
