METHOD FOR PARTICULATING METASTABLE SYRUP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3432602
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To particulate a post inversion metastable syrup comprising a rubber- like composite phase and a resin phase through heightening the degree of freedom in the control and operation of a particle size distribution by applying a uniform shear field to the syrup.
CONSTITUTION: At least part of a metastable syrup (desirably containing 1-20 wt.% rubber) is subjected to an apparatus (particulator) 3 producing a field of a shear of 2-2,000 sec to invert it.
