Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform automatic braking processes when a dangerous running status is acknowledged by controlling braking pressure with an antilock device.
CONSTITUTION: When an antilock device acknowledges that at least one wheel on the axle of a vehicle reaches a locking limit, automatic braking processes are started. Braking pressure on the axle of the vehicle is started to be controlled by the antilock device. As wheels on the other axles of the vehicle do not reach a locking limit because of the distribution of a load of the vehicle on the axle and the distribution of braking force, continuously increasing braking pressure is allowed on these wheels. The continuously increasing breaking pressure is thus provided on the other wheels.
