Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the result after an overlay at the time of overlaying clipped moving objects to a new colored background while clipping the moving objects from an original video consisting of a first colored background and the moving objects.
SOLUTION: A clipping key computing element 2 calculates a clipping key KD performing separation from the color space (CB, CR, Y) expressing an original video to the area forming the volume expressing a first colored background, the second area forming the volume expressing objects and a third areas expressing the transition area between the first colored background and the objects. Then, when the video including the objects and the video having a new colored background are respectively defined as an objective video and a background video, a mixing is performed so that the video VD expressing the moving objects with respect to the new colored background is given by VD = KD × objective video + (1-KD) × background video.
