Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shorten the time for address calculation in copying a picture with magnification/reduction by applying the address calculation of the copy sender only to two sides of an outer frame in horizontal and vertical directions in a region surrounded by a rectangle of the copy destination, storing the result to the table and applying address calculation while referencing the table. CONSTITUTION:In magnifying/ reducing the picture of the region of the copy sender into the region of copy destination, the address in the direction of X at the region of the copy sender corresponding to each address in the X direction in the region of copy destination is calculated, the calculated address is stored in the X direction table 11, while the address in the Y direction of the region of the copy sender corresponding to each address in direction Y in the region of copy destination is calculated and the calculated address is stored in the Y direction table 12. Then the address of all coordinates in the region of the copy sender are obtained by referencing the X direction table 11 and the Y direction table. Thus, the address calculation time in applying magnifying or reducing copy to the picture is shortened.
