To efficiently recover polyester fiber materials from polyester/cotton blended textile products by eliminating enzyme inhibition caused by adhering materials to perform cellulase reaction on the polyester/cotton blended textile products with adhering stain materials such as lipids derived from human body, proteins, and glucides, unspecified minute materials such as inorganic materials and dust, and various kinds of microorganisms of various germs.
The polyester/cotton blended textile products are heated at 60-90°C in an alkaline aqueous solution having a concentration of 5% or less, then, the deposits including stains and various germs are removed by washing and removing alkalis with acidic electrolytic water, and thereafter cellulase reaction is performed. Alternatively, cellulase reaction is carried out in the presence of inorganic salts of manganese, cobalt, or barium. Further, polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester is added to the enzyme reaction liquid.
