Abstract:
To provide the design, development, composition and use of a new calcimimetic molecule capable of acting on extracellular calcium ion on the cell by a method mimicking the calcium ion, a calcilytic inhibiting the activity of the intercellular calcium ion on the cell, and a method for producing the same and identification thereof.
This method for producing medicinal composition for treating a patient suffering from a disease characterized by an abnormal level of calcium ion, PTH, inositol triphosphate, calcitonin or diacylglycerol comprises a step for mixing a compound with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, and the compound is characterized in that when carrying out the assay by using the assay for measuring an intramolecular free calcium ion in an epidermal parathyroid cell, the compound can cause the increase of the intracellular free Ca2+ concentration by ≤5 μM EC50.
