Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing an amino group-containing diblock copolymer with an extremely low-discoloring level during storage, which is suitable for a wetting agent, a dispersant, a pigment concentrate and a paint.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a diblock copolymer, comprising blocks A or blocks B formed from (meth)acrylates other than trimethylsilyl (meth)acrylate, 1-butoxyethyl (meth)acrylate, 1-ethoxyethyl (meth)acrylate, 2-tetrahydropyranyl (meth)acrylate and t-butyl (meth)acrylate, wherein: one of the blocks A or the blocks B contains (meth)acrylates having at least one amino group; and the other thereof contains (meth)acrylates containing an oligoether group. The method is conducted by group transition polymerization at a temperature between -78°C and +60°C, and amine number is 10 to 160 mgKOH/g.SELECTED DRAWING: None
