To provide a method for preparing a printing plate and an apparatus for preparing a printing plate which can cope with digital image data and by which a number of printed matters with clear images can be printed inexpensively and at a high speed.
The apparatus for preparing a printing plate provided with an image forming means wherein an image is directly formed on the printing plate by an inkjet drawing apparatus 2 wherein an oily ink is jetted from an injection head 22 by utilizing an electrostatic field based on a signal of the image data and an image fixing means for obtaining a printing plate by fixing the image formed by the image forming means, is provided and at least one filter 60 is provided in a flow path of the above described oily ink.
