Abstract:
To provide a method for preventing a loosening of a coil, by which coiling is not loosened till the rolled up coil is payed out and the coil is banded.
In a slitter line for cutting a steel strip into a plurality of lines, when the plurality of the lines which are cut are rolled up on a tension reel simultaneously and the plurality of the lines of the coils are received with a coil car, elastic members are inserted into gaps generated between the receiving face of the coil car and the coils caused by the outside diameter difference of the coil. Next, by operating an upper press pad, the upper parts of the coils are pressed after inserting the elastic members into the gaps generated between the upper press pad and the coils.
