Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the melt sticking of TiNi sheets to each other by coating the surface of each of the sheets with MgO powder.
CONSTITUTION: When Ti-Ni laminated plates, TiNi sheets 1 or coils are heat- treated at a high temp. for a long time, the surface of each of the sheets 1, etc., is coated with MgO powder as a releasing material 2. The pref. particle diameter of the MgO powder is as small as ≤10μm and a satisfactory melt sticking preventing effect is not produced in the case of ≥10μm particle diameter. The deterioration of the quality of the sheets 1, etc., can be prevented.
