PURPOSE: To improve the photodiscoloration preventing effect of the org. coloring substance, without making the hue and the purity of a color matter or a dye worse, by jointly using the org. coloring substance and a specific compd. to the color photographic material.

CONSTITUTION: The color photographic material contains jointly the org. coloring substance with at least one kind of the compd. shown by formula I where R1 is hydrogen atom, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, a heterocyclic ring, acyl, sulfonyl, phosphonyl, carbamoyl, sulfamoyl or oxycarbonyl group, R2 is a group capable substituting, (m) is 0 or an integer of 1W6. Thus, the excellent photodiscoloration preventing effect of the org. coloring substance, especially, the dye of the color photographic material against the discoloration caused by the light is obtd., and the color photographic image is maintained to stable for long period.
