Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a highly reliable method with the frequency of such toubles as clogging of pipes decreased in the method for processing a backwash fluid contg. the impurities in a backwash filter for a cleaning fluid and a settling device by which this method is performed.
CONSTITUTION: This settling device is provided with the settling tank 26 furnished with a tank inlet 28, a first region 32 storing a cleaning fluid to be treated by settling and a deposit collecting region 34 arranged below the first region. The first region 32 and the deposit collecting region 34 are separated by a separator 36 respectively in a pressure-withstanding state. The deposit collecting region 34 is provided with a tank outlet line 42 closed by a closing member 40 to discharge the deposit.
