Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the process of scraps which are generated in a long size material cutting device for cutting the long size material which is uncoiled from an uncoiler into a prescribed length.
SOLUTION: The long size material 3 which is uncoiled from a material roll 20 which is held with an uncoiling shaft 14A which is in the material delivering position A of an uncoiler 1 is supplied to a shear by feeding it with a feeder 2. When the last terminal part of the long size material 3 is passed through a judging position P where is provided near the feeder 2, the feeding direction of the feeder 2 is reversed and the material which is held with the feeder 2 is reversely sent to the side of the uncoiler 1 as the scrap till the tip of the last terminal part reaches a preset position Q in the vicinity of the feeder 2. The scrap is clamped with a clamping tool 36 which is provided on the uncoiler 1 and drawn out of the feeder 2. The scrap which is clamped with the clamping tool 36 is moved to a scrap discharging position B and formed into a coil shape with a scrap forming device 62.
