Abstract:

To provide a method for processing of a silver halide photographic sensitive material which prevents the generation of a scum even though the capacity of a water rinse vessel is small and without replenishment of rinsing water.

The method for processing of the silver halide photographic sensitive material has the following characteristics i.e., to be processed by a fixing agent containing at least one of the compounds represented in formula (1), the capacity of rinsing water is 0.5 liters or more and 5 liters or less, and to be processed without replenishing rinsing water. Formula (1) R-SxOyM [wherein, R is represented by an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group, X is 1 or 2, Y is 2-8, and M is a cation].
