Title:
METHOD FOR PROCESSING SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0252335
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a direct positive photosensitive material which has sufficient reversal property, even at the time of developing the material with a processing solution (a developer) having a relatively low pH value, by incorporating a specified compd. in a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer mounted on a supporting body.

CONSTITUTION: The silver halide photosensitive material contains the compd. shown by formula I in the emulsion layer mounted on the supporting body. In formula I, Z is a nonmetal atomic group necessary for forming a 5 or 6 membered heterocyclic ring, R1 is an aliphatic group, R2 is a substituting group which has ≥1.0×10-5/sec of constant (k) of the exchanging speed (H/D) of a proton contd. in methylene group bonded to the group R2. One among R1, a substituting group of Z, and the substituting groups R2 contains alkinyl group, Y is a pair ion for balancing an electric charge, (n) is a number necessary for balancing the electric charge. Thus, the sufficient reversed picture of the material is formed, even if the material is developed with the developer having the relatively low pH value.
