Title:
METHOD FOR PROCESSING SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05265152
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To process the silver halide photographic sensitive material by reducing replenishing amounts of a developing solution, and a fixing solution without impairing photographic performances, such as sensitivity and sharpness, and fundamental processing performance, such as developability, fixability, eluting ability of silver halide, and film settability.

CONSTITUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material is provided with at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on one side of a support and a backing layer on the other side has a gelatin binder amount of 0.5-3.5g/m2 and at least one layer containing a latex polymer stabilized with gelatin on the side of the silver halide emulsion layers. This photosensitive material is processed by replenishing the fixing solution in an amount of ≤400ml/m2. It is preferred to process the fixing solution comprising, for example, thiosulfate ≤1.35mol/l, sulfite ≤0.06mol/l, pH ≥4.35, water-soluble aluminum salt ≥0.03mol/l, and acetic acid ion ≥0.2mol/l.
