Title:
METHOD FOR PROCESSING SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08328206
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent staining due to silver sludge and lowering of printing performance without affecting photographic characteristics by bringing a developing solution or rinsing water each into contact with a filter having a positive electrokinetic potential or passing it through this filter.

CONSTITUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material is processed by bringing the developing solution or rinsing water each into contact with the filter having the positive electrokinetic potential or filtering it, thus permitting colloidal silver having a negative electrokinetic potential eluted from the photosensitive material into the solution to be captured by electrostatic adsorption and to cause physical development with the colloidal silver as physical development nuclei in the filter matrix, resulting in producing metallic silver and reducing silver ions and to restrain occurrence of silver sludge.
