To provide a method for processing sugarcane juice having solved such a problem that sugarcane juice has been taken to improve health, but much intake thereof is considered not to be good for health because of having too much sugar ingredient, and therefore, it has been required to reduce sugar ingredient in sugarcane juice to the utmost.
This method comprises the following process: adding yeast to sugarcane juice so as to change the sugar ingredient in the sugarcane juice to alcohol; heating and concentrating the thus obtained solution to evaporate the alcohol and water to obtain an extract with a water content of 70 wt.%-0 wt.%. Taking the thus obtained extract results in having such effects that a sense of hearing is recovered on the very day, sweet saliva is generated in the mouth of the user on the next day and the pain caused by prostatitis is faded away.
