Abstract:

To provide a highly reliable method of processing the terminal of a superfine coaxial cable, which can cut and remove a shield conductor without applying external force to the center conductor.

In a terminal processing method which cuts and removes the jacket and shield conductor layer of the terminal of a superfine coaxial cable where an insulator layer, the above shield conductor layer, and the above jacket are stacked around the center conductor, a plurality of superfine coaxial cables are arranged 11 flat, and the jackets of the terminals of those superfine coaxial cables are peeled off to expose the above shield conductors 12, and these shield conductor layers are united together by soldering 13, and then a laser beam of wavelength lower in reflectance is applied to the desired positions of the materials of the shield conductor layers.
