Abstract:
To provide a method for treating a 100% silk fabric processed with washable pleats, and a silk fabric treated with the pleats processing not collapsing in contact with water.
This method for processing washable pleats not collapsing in contact with water on a silk woven fabric is provided by folding pleats of the 100% silk fabric treated with water repelling process without damaging the touch feeling of the silk, putting it into an oven, and steaming with 95-105°C steam for 40 minutes, and the method for treating the silk woven-fabric with pleats is also provided.
