Abstract:
To provide a production method that can produce 1-alkene-3-ol from 2-alkene-1-ol with high selectivity and at high yield.SOLUTION: In the reaction of synthesizing 1-alkene-3-ol from 2-alkene-1-ol, a catalyst including metal oxide is used. For example, the catalyst includes at least one selected from the group consisting of zirconium, hafnium, vanadium, niobium, tantalum, molybdenum, and tungsten. For example, the catalyst is supported on a catalyst carrier including at least one selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide and silicon oxide and/or forms a complex with such a catalyst carrier.SELECTED DRAWING: None
