To establish a method for synthesizing a 13C-labeled aromatic compound such as 13C-labeled benzene from 13CH4 or 13CO2 concentrated at a different content rate of a carbon stable isomer from a naturally existing rate as a starting raw material, and further to provide a 13C-labeled benzene derivative.
This method for producing [13C6]-benzene includes a process for trimerizing [13C2]-acetylene in the presence of a metal catalyst and/or a zeolite catalyst. The [13C2]-acetylene may be produced by performing a non-equilibrium discharge in [13C]-methane, or by reacting 13CO2 with metal lithium to produce Li213C2 and then reacting Li213C2 with water to produce the [13C2]-acetylene. The 13CO2 is obtained by burning [13C]-methane in an oxygen atmosphere. Provided also are a method for producing a 1,2,3,4,5,10-[13C6]-estradiol compound from the [13C6]-benzene, and a [13C6]-benzene derivative.
