Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently producing a triphenylene compound in a large amount at a high yield.
The method of producing a triphenylene compound from a 1,2-di(substituted)oxybenzene compound is characterized by carrying out the reaction of the 1,2-di(substituted)oxybenzene compound in the presence of oxygen, a nitrite compound, a Lewis acidic compound, and an organic solvent.
